China-Laos Railway Exceeds 60 Million Passengers
Since its opening, the China-Laos Railway has transported over 60 million passengers as of October 8. Among them, more than 595,000 passengers from 115 countries and regions worldwide have travelled on cross-border international passenger trains.
This year, the China-Laos Railway has continued to see strong passenger demand. As of October 8, it has transported a total of 15.48 million passengers, representing a year-on-year increase of 2.38 percent. Cross-border passengers numbered nearly 200,000, up 3.17 percent year-on-year.
