At 10:53 a.m. on October 28, a grain train loaded with 3,392 tons of corn in 106 containers departed from Lijiaping Railway Station in Shanxi province, bound for Zaojiaopu Railway Station in Sichuan province. This was the first container grain train launched in Shanxi following this year's autumn harvest. The point-to-point direct service shortens delivery time by more than six days compared with traditional transport methods, improving agricultural product circulation efficiency.

　　The service will now operate regularly, with ten trains scheduled each month. CR-Taiyuan, in cooperation with the Wuzhai county government, has established a grain logistics center to enhance outbound grain transport and help more "Shanxi-quality grains" reach markets across the country.
