Following the successful launch of the first comfortable senior-friendly tourist train in August, CR-Harbin has introduced new measures. In September, it operated special tourist trains for the elderly to destinations such as Yichun and Hong Kong and Macao, enabling senior tourists to enjoy the scenery of Fujian and Guangdong provinces and immerse themselves in forest oxygen bars.

　　Since the beginning of this year, in order to implement the "Action Plan on Increasing Senior-Friendly Tourist Trains and Promoting the Development of Service Consumption" issued by the Ministry of Commerce and eight other departments, CR-Harbin has successively operated tourist trains for the elderly to Sichuan and Chongqing, Hong Kong and Macao, Arxan, Xinjiang and other destinations. With features such as senior-friendly carriage renovation, homelike services, and flexible operation by season, CR-Harbin has effectively met the needs of the elderly, tapped into new growth points of the silver economy, and contributed to the prosperity of border regions.
