On October 11, track-laying officially began on the Xi'an-Ankang High Speed Railway. The newly constructed main line stretches about 171 kilometers, with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. The line is expected to open to traffic in 2026, reducing the rail travel time between Xi'an and Ankang from three hours to within one hour.
