On October 27, the main structure of Xi'andong Railway Station, the largest high-speed railway station under construction in western China, was successfully completed. Upon completion, the station is expected to handle 36.5 million passengers annually. It will significantly ease passenger pressure in the Xi'an railway hub, enhance Xi'an's position in the national railway network, and provide strong support for the development of western China and the Belt and Road Initiative.
